NHTI offers soccer camp in July
CONCORD — NHTI coach and athletic director Paul Hogan has announced a new soccer camp to be held at NHTI during the week of July 16-20.
Play On! Soccer Camp will be held at NHTI with two sessions for boys and girls in grades K-9. Session one will be for K-3 campers and Session two will be for boys and girls in grades 4-9.
The day-to-day camp instruction and leadership will be provided by veteran soccer coaches Derek Johnson and Don Welford.
Johnson is the current girls' soccer coach at St. Paul's School in Concord. Welford has more than 25 years of coaching many different levels of soccer and is currently in his second stint as the head men's soccer coach at NHTI.

Summer soccer camp offered at Pinkerton
DERRY — Varsity Soccer Academy director Kerry Boles recently announced summer soccer camp dates.
The Youth week (ages 7 to 13) will take place during the week of July 16-20 from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
The high school week (grades 9-12) will take place during the week of July 23-27 from 9 a.m. to noon. Both camps will be held at Gilbert H. Hood Middle School.
Camp is open to all boys and girls from Derry and the surrounding towns. During the week of July 30-Aug. 3, VSA will also offer the annual Fitness Camp from 6 to 8 p.m. at Pinkerton Academy.
This camp is open to all athletes, regardless of sport, and will assist each athlete who will be trying out for a high school sport.

Register for Lady Lancers basketball
LONDONDERRY — The Lady Lancers basketball camp will be held July 9-13 at Londonderry Middle School from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
The camp is run by Division 1 Coach of the year John Fagula, along with past and present members of the Lancer basketball team, including Steph Murphy, 2006 Gatorade Player of the Year.
The cost is $130 per player, $90 dollars for additional members.

Women, learn some outdoor skills
CONCORD — Women who want to learn outdoor skills can sign up for New Hampshire's fall Becoming an Outdoors-Woman weekend workshop, Sept. 7-9 at Rockywold/Deephaven Camps on Squam Lake in Holderness.
Participants select four sessions from more than 30 different outdoor skills workshops, including archery, fishing and fly-fishing, camping, field dressing game, hiking, kayaking, rifle, shotgun, nature photography, outdoor survival, campfire cooking, mountain biking, map and compass, and more.
