Star Londonderry quarterback Jake McEachern announced that he will be continuing his academic and football career at Norwich University. The senior led the Lancers (12-0) to the Division 1 state title, and finished his final season with a 64.5 completion percentage (69 of 107), passing for 1,412 yards and 23 touchdowns with three interceptions. He also rushed for 818 yards and 10 touchdowns on 109 carries.



Windham lineman Owen Preble, defensive back/receiver Kyle Keenan and Londonderry Cam Babine have been selected to the New Hampshire roster for the 67th annual Shrine Maple Sugar Bowl. New Hampshire will face Vermont on Aug. 1 at Castleton (Vt.) University.

Preble will enlist in the Marine Corps. after graduating in the spring, Keenan is headed to Plymouth State and Babine will be doing a post-grad year at Bridgton Academy, according to a press release on the game.



Sebastian Keane tossed 7.0 strong innings Sunday, leading Northeastern (9-5) to a series win over Florida Atlantic (9-6). Keane has won three straight on the mound and improves to 3-1 on the season. Also, junior Brandon Dufault of Windham retired all three batters he faced in the ninth inning. Dufault has a 1.08 ERA this year with 10 strikeouts in eight innings.



Sophomore Abigail Lagos of Windham is off to a hot start for 5-0 University of Indianapolis, the No. 8 Division 2 team in the country. She leads the Grand Lakes Valley Conference in goals (21) and points (30).
