Local Roundup: Windham field hockey advances to semis

Windham’s field hockey team had an impressive 3-0 win over Dover to advance to the Division 1 semifinals against Bishop Guertin, which upset Winnacunnet. Ryane Farrell, Livi Manchester and Cam Livingstone scored for the Jaguars (14-1). 

 

Astros stunned

The top-seeded Pinkerton field hockey team was stunned by No. 8 Merrimack, 2-0, in the Division 1 field hockey quarterfinals. Pinkerton beat the Tomahawks, 3-2, in the season opener.

 

Lancers bow out

The No. 4 Londonderry girls field hockey team lost to No. 5 Concord in the Division 1 quarterfinals, 2-0, on Friday. The Lancers end their season 11-4.

 

Astros erupt

Trailing 1-0 at halftime last Tuesday, the Pinkerton girls soccer team scored six times in the second half to clip Keene, 6-1. Mattie Sullivan had a hat trick and Macy Graves scored twice for the Astros.

 

Lancers head to playoffs strong

The Londonderry girls soccer team finished up its regular season with a strong 8-0 win over Merrimack on Wednesday. Alyssa Anderson had three goals, Mia Stowell added a pair of goals and Olivia Stowell dished out four assists.

 

All-around Koelb

Ella Koelb had a team-high 28 assists, 11 service points and 6 aces to lead the Pinkerton volleyball team to a 3-0 sweep of Keene last Wednesday.

 

Overtime win

Sam Franks notched the game-winner in overtime as Pinkerton girls soccer edged Windham, 2-1, on Friday. Reagan Murray had tied it up with one minute remaining in regulation.
