Local Roundup: Pinkerton’s Dandrade gets 1000th dig

Senior Ella Dandrade joined the 1,000-dig club and Pinkerton improved to 12-1 with a sweep of Bishop Guertin on Friday.

 

Lancers win big

The Londonderry field hockey team had a dominant showing in a 7-0 win over Nashua North on Friday. Courtney Shay had three goals and a pair of assists.

 

Teammates go low

The Pinkerton golf team was at Hoodkroft for its final meet last Tuesday, and certainly used the familiar terrain to its advantage. The duo of Phil Daniele and Kyle Raspuzzi each fired 2-under 34s to lead the Astros, which finished their regular season 22-1, to a quad-meet win over Salem and Manchester Central.

 

Lots of Leppanen 

Julia Leppanen led Windham with 13 assists, 14 service points and 5 aces as the Jaguars shut out Manchester Central 3-0 last Monday.

 

Dynamic duo

Olivia Stowell had three goals and teammate Darby Dupuis had three assists to lead the powerhouse Londonderry girls soccer team to 5-1 win over Dover on Friday.

 

Pair for Johnston

Emma Johnston scored the first and last goal as Pinkerton’s field hockey team remained unbeaten (10-0) with a 4-0 shutout of a strong Winnacunnet team last Monday.
