Local Roundup: Auger leads Astros over Andover

Ryan Auger was everywhere for the Pinkerton lacrosse team, scoring three goals and dishing out five assists in a 10-7, cross-state win against Andover on Friday. Hunter Drouin chipped in four goals for the Astros (14-4), and Shamus Florio led the Warriors with four goals.

 

Back at .500

Behind 13 kills and 11 service points from Hunter Hazard, Pinkerton moved back to .500 (7-7) with an easy sweep of Farmington last Wednesday.

 

Three times 4 

Devon Hamilton, Ryane Farrell and Madi Connelly all scored four goals as Windham’s girls whipped Kingswood, 20-7 on Thursday.

 

Rivalry win

Mason Drouin scored four goals and Hunter Drouin and Ryan Auger each netted a hat trick as Pinkerton topped longtime rival Exeter 13-7 on Thursday.

Albetski on fire

Mat Albetski pitched a complete-game two hitter, striking out three and leading Pinkerton to a 3-1 win over Salem on Thursday.

 

Century Club

Lilly Auger and Madison Daziel each scored five goals as Pinkerton (17-1) wrapped up the top seed for the Division 1 playoffs with a 19-5 win over Windham on Friday. With the big game, Auger joined the 100-career-goal club. 

Walk-off win

Danielle St. Peter’s walk-off hit in the seventh inning gave Pinkerton a 3-2 win over Winnacunnet on Friday.
