LONDONDERRY — A new business offering fun inflatable opportunities for both patrons and staff is now open.

PUEBLO, Colo. - Hair freshly done from the beauty parlor on a recent Friday morning, Ada Clark, 93, and her daughter Carol, 63, met in front of the J.C. Penney in the Pueblo Mall, about 100 miles south of Denver. Their afternoon plan: a walk around the mall, followed by lunch at Red Lobster.

For decades, department stores like Macy's and Sears have anchored sprawling suburban malls. Now as their business has languished and they board up shop, another sort of tenant is trying its luck in their place: grocers.

Indoor malls had their heyday from the 1960s through the 1990s, but now face competition from online retailers, outdoor drive-up-and-walk-in lifestyle centers and mixed-use shopping areas.
