There are many ways to make a difference in someone's life this holiday season.
Whether it's a charitable giving effort, supporting local food pantries, or helping with gifts and food through church efforts, many will be on the receiving end of a lot of good work this year.
The Derry News Santa Fund is also hard at work, accepting generous donations to support those in need this year and welcomes support to help families and individuals have a bright, happy holiday.
The fund is a longtime tradition at the Derry News, established in 1986 and all money raised supports the longstanding Derry Community Fund and the Londonderry Rotary Club holiday Santa fund giving projects. Both agencies provide food, clothing and toys to those in need.
This year’s Santa Fund goal is $22,500. All donations go a long way to make a child’s holiday dream come true, to support others who need help with food and clothing or lend a helping hand.
Donations can be dropped off at the Derry News office or mailed to: Derry News Santa Fund, 46 West Broadway, Derry, N.H. 03038, or visit online at derrynews.com/Santafund.
