LONDONDERRY — The town of Londonderry is a big holiday helper, thanks to a major effort to get Christmas wishes directly to Santa Claus this season.

Town Hall is working directly with the North Pole and the United States Postal Service to make sure all letters written to Santa are delivered on time.

Santa's elves will deliver the official North Pole Express Mailbox to Town Hall, to be placed in the entry way of the building at 268B Mammoth Road.

The mailbox will remain until Dec. 18.

Write Santa a letter, send him your wish list and wish him well this holiday season. All letters deposited in the mailbox will then be picked up and taken directly to the North Pole.

Elves ask that all letters have names and addresses clearly written on the letter so Santa can send replies.

Hours for Santa's mailbox are regular Town Hall hours: Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.
