Supervisors to meet
The Supervisors of the Voter Checklist will meet at the town clerk's office on Feb. 27, from 10 to 11:30 a.m. to correct the checklist and register voters. To register, one must provide proof of Londonderry residency, proof of citizenship, proof of age and a photo ID. Applicants who have this information should bring that proof when they come to register. Qualified applicants who do not have the proper proof can register if they sign an affidavit attesting to their qualifications for age, identity, domicile and citizenship.
Rotary honors winners
The Londonderry Rotary Club honored winners of its recent "Rotary Saves Christmas" raffle. The club offered three prizes throughout the raffle. Winners of the two $500 prizes were the Nashua Soup Kitchen and Lisa Viau of Merrimack. Top winner of the $2,000 prize was Neil White of Londonderry.
The raffle was successful, Rotarians say, with more than 1,000 tickets sold. In total, the raffle raised over $9,3000 to support local charities, scholarships and those in need.
The Rotary also thanks all who supported the "Rotary Saves Christmas" efforts during the past holiday season, including the Santa Claus ride around town on a fire truck, donations of Christmas trees and letters to Santa Claus.
