The town of Londonderry seeks volunteers to serve on various boards/committees. The following positions are available: Budget Committee, term ending 2021, one full-time position; Conservation Commission, one alternate position; Heritage Commission, one alternate position.

Summer tennis camp to start
An eight-lesson summer tennis camp is held July 8-18 at the Skip Burbine tennis courts on Sargent Road. The camp is open to ages 5-11 and lessons are held Monday through Thursday, 9 to 10:30 a.m. Cost for the camp is $65. Enjoy the forest
The town is supporting a program this summer to beautify the Kent Allen Forest (by the Town Common) in preparation for the many Nutfield 300th anniversary events this year. Blast off with books
Leach Library hosts a "Blast Off With Books" program on Wednesday, July 10, 11 a.m. to noon, featuring Mike Bent and his magic show. The program is sponsored by Friends of the Londonderry Leach Library. Registration is required by stopping by the Children's Room.
Rotary hosts blood drive
The Londonderry Rotary Club, in partnership with the American Red Cross, hosts a blood drive on Tuesday, July 23, 2 to 7 p.m. at a new location, the Londonderry Senior Center, 535 Mammoth Road. Last year’s one-day drive netted 130 pints of blood and Rotarians hope to exceed that amount this year. No appointment is necessary for anyone wishing to donate, but if appointments are requested, call the Red Cross at 603-370-8568.
Summer media camp planned
The annual summer media camp is set for July 15-26, 10 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. at the Londonderry Access Center cable studio. The camp is open to students entering fifth through eighth grade in the fall of 2019. Students will learn aspects of video production, will learn to produce a show, and learn about cameras and editing. Call to reserve a camp spot at 603-432-1100, ext. 185.
Supervisors in session
The Supervisors of the Voter Checklist will meet at the town clerk’s office to correct the checklist and register voters on Aug. 21, 6 to 7 p.m. To register to vote, one must provide proof of Londonderry residency, proof of citizenship (passport, birth certification, naturalization papers), proof of age, photo ID. Qualified applicants who do not possess proof or who do not bring proof with them may register if they sign an affidavit attesting to their qualifications for identity, age, domicile and citizenship.
