Tree sales to start

St. Mark's Council #10488 of the Knights of Columbus begin the 30th annual Christmas tree sale on Friday, Nov. 29, from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. at Chuck's Londonderry BP station on Route 102, between Dunkin' Donuts and Crossroads Mall. More than 300 quality, New England-grown trees will be for sale this year, all sizes available.

The Knights will sell trees throughout the season on Saturdays and Sundays, 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Monday through Friday, 6 to 8 p.m. until all are gone. Proceeds go to support several charities and organizations supported by the Knights and St. Mark's Parish.

Democrats to meet

Londonderry Democrats meet Saturday, Nov. 30, 10 a.m. at the Rockingham Regional Democratic office, 2 Litchfield Road. The meeting includes refreshments and lively conversation. Anyone interested in learning more about Londonderry Democrats is welcome to attend.

Town needs task force members

The town seeks volunteers to serve on an Old Home Day Task Force to help continue the longstanding annual tradition.

With many longtime volunteers stepping down, new volunteers are needed to step up and get involved.

Old Home Day is a five-day celebration held every August. Volunteers can work on many areas of the celebration including Senior Night, the parade, Kidz Night, and more.

Santa makes a stop

Santa Claus will make a stop at the Londonderry Access Center on Saturday, Dec. 7, from 1 to 3 p.m. The Access Center is located at 281 Mammoth Road.

This is a free event and children can stop by to greet Santa and share their wish lists. There will be gifts and refreshments and parents will have opportunities to take photos of their children with Santa.

Supervisors of Checklist session

The Supervisors of the Checklist meet at the town clerk’s office Jan. 3, 2020, from 6 to 7 p.m. to correct the checklist and register voters.

To register, residents much provide proof of Londonderry residency, proof of United States citizenship (passport, birth certificate, naturalization papers), proof of age and photo identification.

Qualified applicants without the proper proof can register if they sign an affidavit attesting to their qualifications. Call for information at 432-1100, ext. 198.
