LONDONDERRY —  Art in Action returns to Mack's Apples on Mammoth Road Saturday and Sunday, May 16 and 17, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

The annual art festival joins artists from all over the region for a weekend of demonstrations in painting, fiber arts, weaving, jewelry making, woodworking and much more.

The free family-friend event also will showcase local high school students who will pose as "living statues" during the weekend.

Young artists will have an opportunity to pick up a brush and create artwork under the guidance of artist Steven Sullivan.
