LONDONDERRY — A popular holiday tradition found a temporary home this year.

The annual "Christmas on the Common" was held last Sunday afternoon at a new location at Londonderry Square Plaza on Nashua Road.

The popular holiday event almost didn't happen as the traditional spot for the festivities on the Town Common was unavailable this year due to the construction/drainage work done in recent months at the site.

The event, hosted by the Londonderry Rotary Club in partnership with the town and board of Londonderry Square Professional Offices, found the new spot, with an afternoon full of music, visits with Santa and Mrs. Claus and plenty of holiday treats to enjoy. Scouts helped with holiday carols, while Rotarians served up some tasty chili to guests.
