LONDONDERRY — Northstar Financial principals Sam Hull and Robin Young have worked as equal partners for more than four years. During that time they built a successful financial life planning and wealth management firms.

Now there's to be a change.

Hull is retiring and, as of April 1, is turning over his ownership interest in Northstar to Young. He will gradually phase out his direct contact and activities with clients.

Knowing this was just ahead, the two have been working with a business coach for the last two years. The end result will be a smooth transition during the change. As part of their planning, last May they brought Alexa Darbe on board, adding her seven years' experience as a former bank trust officer to the team.

Young said that Hull will remain on the Northstar Investment Committee as well as being "Of Counsel."

Young also said that Northstar will remain commited to providing the high levels of service to their clients.

"That remains our passion and our primary goal," he said.

Hull has bought a home in Arundel, Maine, and plans are to leave Bedford and move to Maine sometime this summer.
