LONDONDERRY — There will be a special Town Council meeting on Oct. 4 at 4:30 the Londonderry Country Club to address complaints made by golfers and club employees

The issue of gunfire noise from the Londonderry Fish and Game Club firing range and the nearby police firing range came before the Town Council last month.

Club owner Thomas Kimball has complained about the noise from the two ranges since the 1990s and he claims it has hurt his business.

But Fish and Game Club officials say they are within their rights and the noise from gunfire does not affect the golfers.

The Town Council and the police department officials will conduct a special meeting to hear for themselves.

The public meeting is open to anyone; the cable access department will be filming the meeting at the club,
