DERRY — The Greater Derry-Salem Regional Coordinating Council for Community Transportation seeks three local residents to serve as citizen members of the group.
The council is a coalition of organizations with a shared goal of expanding affordable and efficient community transportation in Atkinson, Chester, Danville, Derry, Hampstead, Londonderry, Plaistow, Salem, Sandown and Windham. RCC membership is open to organizations, government units and residents of those communities.
Ideally, the citizen members should have familiarity with community transportation in the region. This may be as a rider of transit services provided by agencies like CART, a family member of a transit user or simply an interested member of the public.
Anyone who is interested must submit a letter of interest and application. The application form, as well as additional information on the RCC, is available through the Rockingham Planning Commission website, rpc-nh.org/Region%209%20RCC.htm.
If you cannot access the website information and would like a packet mailed to you, call Scott Bogle at 778-0885. People with disabilities who need special accommodation to access printed information should use the same contact.
