LONDONDERRY — Art in Action, in conjunction with NH Open Doors, returns Saturday, Nov. 5, and Sunday, Nov. 6, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Artists and artisans will be demonstrating their creative process in two locations, Mack's Apples Farm Market on Mammoth Road and Shady Hill Greenhouse Number 2 and Nursery on the corner of Mammoth and Adams Roads. Work will be for sale.
A winner will be drawn at 3 p.m. on Sunday at Mack's Apples to receive a one-of-a-kind painting by renowned local artist, Michael James Toomy. "Sons Of The Republic" is being raffled off, with 100 percent of the proceeds to benefit MooreMart, a local nonprofit group that sends care packages to soldiers serving overseas.
Raffle tickets will be available prior to the drawing. They cost $10 each or three for a $25 donation.
Artists located at Mack's will include Ginny Nickerson of Deerfield; Susan Hanna and Bruce Stern of Londonderry; Maria Williams of Manchester; Marilyn Heaps of Milford; Hal Kirby of Newmarket; and Debra Grubbs of Salem.
