After brothers (left t o right) Russell, Alex and Matt Jackson finished posing for a photo with the Easter Bunny for their mother, the two older boys tried, unsuccessfully, to get their younger brother Russell on bunny's lap. The Jackson family was among many to spend the morning at the Chester Easter event sponsored by the Girl Scouts at the Chester Town Offices, the funds from which will go to Easter baskets for patients at Elliot hospital in Manchester.

CHESTER | The multipurpose room at the Chester Town Office was full of colorful eggs, treats, family fun, and the Easter Bunny himself, as Chester Girl Scouts hosted a holiday event to help raise money to fill baskets for patients at Elliot Hospital in Manchester.

The Scouts hosted a breakfast with the Easter Bunny event on Sunday, inviting families to attend for some tasty food, coloring contest, cookie bake-off, and photos with the Easter Bunny.

Some of the older Scouts volunteered to help out with activities for the younger set and then pitched in to help with cleanup. Proceeds will go to support the Scouts' community service projects like the Elliot Hospital cause.
