LONDONDERRY — It was a fun way for local senior citizens to end one holiday while looking forward to the next.

The Londonderry Senior Center hosted a New Year's party on Dec. 28, with food, games and a popular yankee swap gift exchange.

Seniors brought gifts and then picked one for themselves, from the most practical to something a bit sillier like a singing fish mounted on a plaque.

The senior center on Mammoth Road hosts daily programs, classes, special events and meals for elder residents in the area.
