Pinkerton Players present 'Little Women'

DERRY — The Pinkerton players bring a classic story to the Stockbridge Theatre stage this week.

Students present "Little Women" on Friday, Dec. 7, and Saturday, Dec. 8, at 7 p.m. and again on Sunday, Dec. 9, at 2 p.m. at the Stockbridge at Pinkerton Academy.

The show is a musical version of the story by Louisa May Alcott and tells the tale of the March sisters, Jo, Beth, Amy and Meg and their lives in Massachusetts.

The cast is made of up 11 students and the show is one of two musicals Pinkerton will present this school year.

This musical adaptation of the famed story opened on Broadway in 2005. Students in the cast are Jenna Sullivan, Samantha Griffin, Shea Flanders, Emma Cahoon, Michael Hughes, Tony Gallo, Harrison Christilles, Sydney Steger, Adam Furgal, Amelia Hansen, and Gabbie Deutsch.
