Barka names top students

DERRY — Ernest P. Barka Elementary School has announced its Students of the Week for the period ending Sept. 28.

The following students were honored: Kindergarten, Brenna Lovely, Kali Sheridan; Grade one, Aubree Batchelder, Lyla Colbert, Wes Morgan, Keyden Ramos Ruiz, Noah Walker; Grade two, Matthew Babcock, Dylan Caracoglia, Sophia Cima, Emily Kerins, Jaxon Titus; Grade three, Daniel Chen, Kira Olson, Kaleigh Stephenson, Olivia Townsend; Grade four, Abigail Ciarla, Tessa Fleury, John Kerins, Federico Mills; Grade five, Maxwell Giangarra, Roselyn, Guertin, Landan Kevorkian, Joseph Statler, Jaclynn Titus.

Pinkerton hosts 26th craft fair

DERRY — Pinkerton Academy hosts its 26th annual arts and crafts fair sponsored by the Pinkerton Alumni Association. The fair is Saturday, Oct. 20, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the Academy's Hackler gymnasium, 42 North Main Street.

There will be more than 160 spaces filled with artisans displaying and selling homemade crafts including knits, recycled wool items, fudge, woodworking, jewelry, candles, pottery, paintings, fall and holiday decor and much more.
