Derry elementary school gets support

Derry Village Elementary School was supported recently by a grant from GM and Betley Chevrolet, allowing the purchase of a new laminator. The grant paid $1,000 and the school’s PTA paid any remaining balance. The new machine replaces an aging 24-year-old model and is much easier and safer to use, school officials say.
