LONDONDERRY — Incumbents and newcomers have tossed their names in and will run for open town and School District positions.
That includes two incumbent town councilors who hope to win another three years on the job.
Incumbent councilors John Farrell and Tom Dolan will seek another term on the council, along with Debra Paul, who is also hoping to win one of the two open seats.
Other town jobs up for election and those seeking to win are: Leach Library trustees, three positions for three years, incumbents John Curran and Robert Collins, along with Sandra Geisler, Vicki Stachowske, and Mack Leathurby; Budget Committee, two open spots for three years, Chad Franz, Joel Olson, and incumbent Christine Patton; Budget Committee, one position for one year, Steve Breault and Jonathan Kipp; trustee of the trust fund, one position for three years, John E. McLaughlin; and town treasurer for three years, incumbent Kathy Wagner.
Incumbent School Board member Jenn Ganem will run again for the lone open seat and is being challenged by Robert Slater.
Other School District jobs up for election this year and those running are: moderator, incumbent Cindi Rice Conley; clerk, incumbent Mary Wing Soares, and school district treasurer, incumbent John Conley.
Voters will choose town and School District positions at the polls Tuesday, March 12. Polls in Londonderry are open 6 a.m. to 8 p.m. at the Londonderry High School gymnasium.
