DERRY —The Center for Life Management (CLM), the local nonprofit mental health center plans to participate in NH Gives 2020, a 24-hour giving event powered by the New Hampshire Center for Nonprofits.

Starting at 6 p.m. on June 9 and ending on June 10 at 6 p.m., donations in support of mental health services can be made online at

Donations to CLM support people in the most fundamental ways allowing an unemployed individual with mental illness to seek and maintain a job; it improves a child with ADHD chances of succeeding in school; and it helps prevent the kind of mental health crises that land people in the hospital unnecessarily, which can result in devastating medical bills.

This annual fundraising event gives donors 24 hours to make donations, however donations to CLM are needed throughout the year. As New Hampshire is slowly re-opening and recovering from the pandemic, mental health professionals are predicting an increased need for mental health screenings, education, and psychosocial supports that focus on the needs of front-line workers, and others that have worked throughout the pandemic or who suffered losses such as the loss of their jobs, loved ones and those who are at risk for mental health crises.

CLM has been navigating the new normal and enduring unexpected costs and client needs. These costs range from technology for providers and patients, personal protection equipment, to increasing broad band services for the organization and clients. Donations to CLM supports the well-being of the local community. If you would like to donate visit or Checks may be mailed to the Center for Life Management, Fund Development Office, 10 Tsienneto Road, Derry, NH 03079. If you have any questions or would like more information call Melissa Ballard Sullivan, Director of Fund Development at 603-956-0770.
