Pinkerton students receive National Merit Scholarship honors

DERRY — The Planning Board unanimously approved a plan by Pinkerton Academy to create a new practice field at the campus property off North Main Street.


DERRY — It was a production that was stalled last spring due to the coronavirus pandemic, but members of the Pinkerton Players went on with the show, performing safely and within distancing guidelines at the outdoor drive-in venue space at the Tupelo Music Hall.

DERRY — In this current climate where town and school district meetings are held remotely, the Derry Cooperative School Board took time at its June 2 meeting to honor and congratulate a list of those educators and staff retiring from the district this year.

The Derry Wolverine Dream Foundation Inc. has announced this year’s recipients of both the Robert P. Kennedy Memorial Scholarship and the Derry Wolverine Academic Scholarships.

The National Interscholastic Athletic Administrators Association (NIAAA) has honored a longtime Pinkerton Academy coach with a Certified Athletic Administrator designation.
