DERRY — Staff at Gilbert H. Hood Middle School have many hidden talents in addition to being savvy in the classroom.

The school hosted its Faculty Follies April 4, with teachers and other staff taking the school stage to perform songs, instrumentals, comedy and dance.

Every year, the faculty at Hood puts individual and group talents in the spotlight, performing for students and their families.

The annual production began 11 years ago and has become a tradition at the school. After the teachers served a spaghetti dinners, the audience sits back and enjoys the shows, dinner theater style.

This year’s unique acts including a Water Games spoof of the popular story and movie series “The Hunger Games,” a Moo Man Group extravaganza, where Twinkies were tossed to the crowd, and an appearance of the faculty staff All Stars of Funk Band.
