Speed may have contributed to a fatal weekend traffic accident which killed a Derry resident.
The single-vehicle crash closed a portion of North Lowell Road between Camelot and Londonderry Roads in Windham shortly after 7 p.m. Saturday.
Windham police Capt. Mike Caron said a crash reconstruction team is investigating the cause, but it is still undetermined and that may take several weeks.
“We assume speed was a factor,” Caron said.
Angela Cataldi, 25, of Derry was taken to Parkland Medical Center, where she was pronounced dead.
Anyone who witnessed the crash is asked to call Officer Jason Dzierlatka at 434-5577.
