The varsity Astros dominated Bedford Sept. 18, 6-0.

Goal scorers were Julie Saltamartini (3), Kaylie DeCosmo, Jessica McCully and Haley Harrington.

Assists were by Kaylie DeCosmo (2), Erin Johnston, Laura Moran and Samantha Day. Abbey Doherty had 6 saves.

Astros shut down Blue Devils

Behind the fantastic play of Jordan Dudley in goal and the defensive efforts of Erin Johnston and Alex Albano, the Astros beat Salem, 1-0, Saturday.

Erin Johnston scored off a feed from Julie Saltamartini on a penalty corner in the second half. Jordan Dudley stopped a penalty stroke early in the first half to keep the game scoreless.

JV

Pinkerton bests Timberlane

The JV Lady Astros topped Timberlane last week, 4-1.

Maddie Lolicata had 2 goals, Ally Rugg had 1 goal and Amanda Szostak had 1 goal in the win.

JV Astros crushes Bedford

The JV Lady Astros defeated Bedford on Wednesday, 3-0. Sarah Jean Meisner played great defense. Abby Amato, Maddy Lolicata and Kristina Sntuccio each scored goals.

Astros get another shutout

The JV Lady Astros shut out Salem, 1-0, Saturday. Maddy Lolicata scored the lone goal.

Varsity

Pinkerton punches out Salem

The varsity Astros got off to a slow start against Salem Saturday, but they recovered to win, 27-2.

Offensively and defensively the lines dominated the Blue Devils as Pinkerton was able to control the line of scrimmage.

JV

Astros blank Central

The JV Astros defeated Central Sept. 18. 52-0.

The defense shut down the Central run and throwing all game.

Freshman

Astros roll over Salem

The freshman Astros hosted and defeated Salem Sept. 19, 44-0.

The opening kickoff went into the hands of Nick Coombs, who ran 65 yards for the first score of the game. Also playing well in the win were Connor Kennedy, Brandon Tetler, Justin Paleno, Adam Morin, and Kevin Malcolm.
