New England Gymnastics Training Center of Hudson competed at the annual Winter Carnival held Jan. 7 and 8 in Stratham. Girls Team Levels 4 through 8 competed at this event.
NEGTC's Level 4 Team placed fourth and Level 8 team placed second. The girls needed a qualifying score of 31.0 or higher to compete in the state sectional competition. The girls: scores are as follows:
Level 4, Snowflake Age Group
Marline Fitzgerald, Londonderry, placed 12th All Around with a score of 29.1. She received an 8.0 on vault (15th place), 7.8 on bars (11th-place tie), 5.65 on beam (15th place), 7.65 on floor (13th place).
Samantha Fortier, Londonderry placed 11th All Around with a score of 30.3. She received an 8.275 on vault (11th place), 6.8 on bars (15th place), 7.45 on beam (ninth place), 7.8 on floor (12th place).
Taylor Calvert, Londonderry, placed seventh All Around with a score of 33.0. She received an 8.35 on vault (10th place), 8.5 on bars (sixth place), 7.7 on beam (eighth place), 8.45 on beam, (seventh place).
Level 4, Icicle Age Group
Sophia Fonseca, Londonderry, placed fourth All Around with a score of 36.575. She received a 8.75 on vault (ninth place), 9.5 on bars (first place), 9.225 on beam (third place), 9.1 on floor (fifth place).
Level 5, Penguin Age Group
Samantha Gibbs, Derry, placed 11th All Around with a score of 33.45. She received an 8.2 on vault (11th place), 8.375 on bars (11th-place tie), 8.425 on beam (13th place), 8.45 on floor (10th-place tie).
Level 6, Snow Angel Age Group
Elizabeth Bilodeau, Derry, placed sixth All Around with a score of 33.45. She received an 8.55 on vault (eighth-place tie), 8.525 on bars (third place), 7.795 on beam (ninth place), 8.4 on floor (eighth place).
Level 7, Snowflake Age Group
Audrey Hill, Derry, placed fifth All Around with a score of 35.4. She received a 9.225 on vault (fourth place), 8.875 on bars (sixth place), 7.95 on beam (11th place), 9.35 on floor (first place).
Level 8, Snowflake Age Group
Camille Lamont, Londonderry, placed 11th All Around with a score of 8.95. She received an 8.95 on floor (11th place) and scratched vault, bars and beam.
Level 8, Icicle Age Group
Jill McIntire, Londonderry, placed third All Around with a score of 34.5. She received an 8.15 on vault (10th place), 8.225 on bars (third place), 9.25 on beam, (first place), 8.875 on floor (ninth place).
The girls teams are coached by Tim Madore (owner), Bea Boldu, Catie Jarvis. Ashley Neagle, Melanie Streeter and Jodi Turner.
