New England Gymnastics Training Center of Hudson Boys Levels 4, 5, 6 and 7 teams competed in six events at the first annual New England Gymnastics Invitational Jan. 21. The boys' scores are as follows:
Cyrus Laplante, 11, of Londonderry, a Level 4 competitor, placed third in the parallel bar event with a score of 13.5 and achieved an overall score of 75.4.
Cole Tridenti, 11, of Londonderry, a Level 4 competitor, achieved the second place overall award with a score of 76.3.
Robert Cariello, 10, of Londonderry, a Level 4 competitor, placed first in the floor event with a score of 13.3 and achieved an overall score of 73.4.
Ben Steele, 8, of Londonderry, a Level 5 competitor, placed first in five of the six events. Ben achieved the first place overall award with a 83.3 score.
Jonathan Furlong, a Level 6 competitor from Londonderry, achieved the first place overall award with a 79.9 score, earning first place in all six events.
Jacob Cleveland, a Level 7 competitor from Derry, achieved a first place overall award with a 66.0 score, while earning first place in all six events.
NEGTC coaches Jacob Pitt, Tony Cariello, Barry Rogers and Richard Clark lead the largest boys team in New Hampshire. Many of these gymnasts will compete at the United States Military Academy at West Point later this month.
