Pinkerton opened the scoring as senior Bailey Walsh scored halfway through the first to put the Astros up 1-0. Concord scored the next 4 unanswered goals with 2 on the power play before capping off the win with an empty net goal.
Pinkerton skates over Hanover
Pinkerton Academy benfited from balanced scoring and improved special teams en route to a 9-2 win Jan. 11 in Hanover. S
Senior Bailey Walsh led the way with a four-point night, three goals and an assist.
Freshman Tim Cronin notched his first career goal. Junior Brendan Murphy was strong in net, making 20 saves earning the win.
JV icemen shut out Spaulding
The JV Astros evened their record at 2-2 with a 4-0 win over Spaulding Jan. 8.
Trent Parker led the offense with a goal and 2 assists. John Polichetti chipped in a goal and an assist.
Freshmen Colin Philippon and Aaron Harmon also scored goals for the Astros on assists from Mike Francis and Eddie Welch. Jordan Puzzo recorded the shutout, making 21 saves in goal.
Young Astros improve to 3-2
The JV Astros hit the road and improved their record to 3-2 by defeating Goffstown 6-4 Jan. 12.
John Polichetti led the offense with 2 goals and 1 assist. Chris Gile chipped in with 3 assists and Jack Bisson 2 assists as the Astros came from behind to defeat the Grizzlies.
Liam Rooney opened the scoring and also had an assist.
