Astros even at 2-2

The varsity Astros evened their record to 2-2 with a win against the Winnacunnet WarriorsSaturday , with a final score of 51-38.

Caleb Godin contributed 16 points and 5 rebounds. Luke Rosinski had 14 points, 8 assists and 2 blocked shots, while David Faulks contributed 10 points, 9 rebounds and 2 blocked shots.


JV boys dominate Keene

The JV Astros schooled Keene last week at home, 60-34.

High scorer for the game was Trystan Brown with 17 points, followed by Seth Guilmette with 9 points and Ben Olson added 8 points.

Astros fall in OT

The JV Pinkerton boys basketball team fought hard against the Winnacunnet Warriors Saturday, but came up short in overtime.

The Warriors edged out the Astros, 62-61. Trystan Brown kept Pinkerton in the game with 17 points. Ben Curry, Thomas Romick and Tyler Gendron all contributed 10 points.


Rough start, good results

The Pinkerton freshman team traveled to Manchester West Jan. 16. The Astros were slow to find their game, and were tied at the half and up by one at the end of the third. With a few adjustments to their approach, they took control of the fourth and coasted to a 54-37 victory.

Notables include David Currier, who was a force on both sides of the ball with 10 points, 4 steals and 5 rebounds. Ryan Sigman also had 10 points. Matt Richard had a productive night on the boards with 9.



Lady Astros defeat Pioneers

The varsity Lady Astros put forth a great effort to beat the Trinity Pioneers Saturday, 48-36.

Valerie Martin had 14 points, followed by Melissa Martel with 11 points. The Astros upped their record to 3-0 with solid defense from Brandi Bonneau and Kayla Stacy.


Pinkerton crushes Trinity

The JV Lady Astros crushed Trinity Saturday, 49-7.

Julia Bosquet, Madi Lolicata, and Chloe Pacocha were the top scorers for the Astros.


Young Lady Astros fall

Girls freshman basketball traveled to Concord on Jan. 7.
