Lancer swimmers scuttle opposition
Swimming
Boys
The LHS boys swamped St. Thomas Aquinas (120-48) and Hollis (107-60). John McCarthy led the way for the Lancers. He placed first in the 200 free (2:06.19), second in the 500 free and anchored the winning team in the 200 free relay. Gillen Stuart won the 100 freestyle.
Girls
The Lady Lancers got the best of St. Thomas Aquinas (91-79), Hollis (93-77) and Campbell (134-21) in a triple-dual meet. Alyssa Boccia led the way for LHS. She was second in the 200 freestyle, third in the 100 fly and anchored the winning team in the 200 free. Tracy Strong and Shelby McKenney also swam very well.

Varsity
The Lancers clipped Keene, 61-55. Colby poured in 21 points and Mansfield added 12 for the winners.
Girls
Varsity
The Lady Lancers improved to 3-0, fighting off Keene, 44-38. Butterfield dropped in 14 points and King aded 13 for LHS. Londonderry rallied from a 21-11 halftime deficit.
Wrestling
Londonderry ran into a buzzsaw in perrenial power Timberlane. LHS battled but came away on the business end of a 73-3 thumping.
Indoor Track
Boys
Londonderry placd sixth in a multi-team meet with 25 points. Tim Patterson won the long jump with a leap of 18-10. Justin Walker was third in the 1,500. Sean Gorman was third in the 55.
Girls
Led by juggernaut Becca Parascandola, LHS won a multi-team meet with 68 points. Parascandola won the 55 hurdles (8.6) and high jump (5-0), Lyssa Winslow was second in the shot put. Marcie Marino was second in the 300.
Hockey
Boys
The Lancers snuck past Hanover, 3-1. Cody Marquis sparked the offense with two goals and an assist. John Gomes also scored in the win. Sean Griffen turned aside 20 shots between the pipes.
Gymnastics
Girls
LHS was third in a four team meet with 119.25 points. Leah Jackson was second in the vault and third all-around.
