Calling all field hockey players to camp

DERRY — The Red and White Field Hockey Camp is set for July 15-19 and July 22-26 at Pinkerton Academy’s field hockey field.

It’s open to all players in grades 5-12, new or advanced level.

It’s a half-day camp from 8 a.m. to noon. The cost for one week is $90, $170 for both weeks.

The camp is run by Jennifer Resmini, head coach of the field hockey program at Pinkerton, the 2012 Division I state champions.

Campers will be instructed in the fundamental skills and strategies of the game by Resmini, members of the Pinkerton field hockey coaching staff, and recently graduated and experienced Pinkerton Academy field hockey players.

Each camp day will consist of skill stations and contests, instruction in game strategies, lectures, and small and large field team play.

Bring enough water to drink during camp, a field hockey stick, goggles, sneakers/cleats, mouthguard, and shin guards. Goalies must bring their own equipment to the camp.
