Run for the Apples attracts 115 runners

Course record set at Mack's Run for the Apples 5K

ObjectStyle/$ID/[Normal Text Frame]0000LightBlue$ID/[None]0000LightBlueLONDONDERRY — More than 100 runners raced through the rolling terrain at Mack’s Apples Sunday for the Run for the Apples 5K, hosted by the Greater Derry Track Club.

Racers lined up late Sunday afternoon across from the pond at the orchards before taking off through Moose Hill Orchards.

Joshua Grant, 22, of Nashua was the first to cross the finish line, setting a course record of 15:25.

The first woman to finish was Kalin Gregoire, 13, of Londonderry. She finished in 19:48.

Michael St. Hilaire, 34, of Salem carried some extra weight. He raced with 3-year-old son Nathan on his back.
