Lundgren 5K attracts hundreds of runners

Hundreds run in 34th annual Lundgren 5K

LONDONDERRY β€” Nearly 300 runners lined up for the start of the 34th annual Lundgren 5K on Aug. 17.

The race is one of the oldest continuously running 5K races in New Hampshire and a big part of the annual Old Home Day celebration.

It’s run on a USATF-certified course that takes runners through some of the most historic streets and countryside in Londonderry.

The race started on Mammoth Road in front of the Grange Hall, proceeded down Peabody Row, onto Buttrick Road and returned to the Grange Hall for the big finish.
