The Astros were 3-2 during the round robin play, taking wins against Alvirne (15-10), Bedford (15-10), and Nashua South (15-4), and taking losses from Merrimack (11-15) and Concord (7-15).

The girls advanced to the semifinals against Exeter. They played a great game early on, but lost, 20-10. Exeter came away from the night as the champions of the tournament.

The Astros finished with a battle against Merrimack. In the end, Merrimack won, 21-18. It was a great night of volleyball for the girls. Every player on the team contributed during the tournament.

Michaela Blackwell made the All-Tournament team for the Astros with her great attacks at the net and her stellar blocking. The Astros finished their regular season with a 13-5 record; it was a fantastic season of improvement and outstanding play for the team and each team member.

FALL SPIRIT

Pinkerton takes championship

Pinkerton’s varsity team compete at SNHU in the Division 1 Fall Spirit State Championships.

Despite having 10 points in deductions, the Astros scored a 201 and won the state title.
