meet UNH gymnasts

DURHAM — The University of New Hampshire gymnastics program will hold its annual “Meet the Team” on Sunday, Dec. 2, at Lundholm Gymnasium.

The 1 p.m. exhibition performance will be followed by a youth gymnastics clinic at 2:30 p.m.

Fans are invited for a 2013 season preview at the “Meet the Team” performance that will feature a blue/white competition from the gymnasts on all four events: vault, uneven bars, balance beam and floor exercise.

The squad, led by co-captains Jen Aucoin and Courtney Connors, will be split into two separate teams that will compete head-to-head in an exhibition.

This will be followed by a girls gymnastics clinic, where girls ages 5 and older will have the chance to work with the UNH gymnasts and coaching staff. The day will include an autograph session with the Wildcat student-athletes.

Tickets for the “Meet the Team” exhibition are $7 for adults, $5 for under-18 and seniors, and free for UNH students. The one-hour clinic after the exhibition costs $10 and includes free admittance to “Meet the Team.”

The UNH gymnastics team begins its season Sunday, Jan. 6, with a 1 p.m. home meet against Rutgers at Lundholm Gym. For season tickets, visit or call 862-4000, Ext. 5.
