The girls came back from a 1-0 deficit to score two goals - one including Grace DiPersio heading in a cross from Marissa Clark. Exeter then answered back with two more goals. The Astros fought hard to the final whistle, but were unable to put in a third goal.

Hannah Smith and Rayleen Zavala played hard in the midfield.

Lady Astros lose in OT

The freshman Lady Astros traveled to Exeter Sept. 10 and lost 5-4 in overtime.

Pinkerton goals came from Johanna Morse, Erin Batchelder, Mile Wesche and Kyra Voucher. Sydney Hill had a great game controlling the center midfield.

Pinkerton gets a shutout

The freshman Lady Astros shut out Concord Sept. 12, 3-0.

Kelly Murphy led the team with two goals; Nola Wesche scored the other goal.

Sydney Hill was the force that the team needed to get the game going.

Young Lady Astros top Warriors

The freshman Lady Astros defeated Winnacunnet Sept. 13, 2- 1 win.

Johanna Morse and Kyra Groucher had the two goals. Nola Escher played well at outside midfield.

Varsity

Make that a win for Astros

The varsity Astros took to the road on Friday and was able to take a close game at the half, 14- , and turn it into a 42–7 victory.

Offensively, the Astros improved with their adjustments at halftime, while the defense played well throughout the game.

JV

Astros roll over Exeter

On sept. 10, the JV Astros took a 41-0 win over Exeter.

The Astros came out on all cylinders and took control of the game from the start. Five different players scored. Defensive linemen David Pariseau had an interception and return of 10 yards to help shut out Exeter.

Freshman

Teamwork earns Astros a win

The freshman Astros hosted North Sept. 13. The Astros came out strong and played well together as a team on their way to the 28–8 victory.
