The Catalinas ended their season with a team banquet at the Weathervane Restaurant in Bedford. All the girls on the team were given a booklet of photos highlighting their year.

The final award given out was the Catalina Award. This is given annually by the coaches to a swimmer who best demonstrates, throughout the season, the true spirit of synchronized swimming. It is given not only for hard work and personal improvement, but also for a willingness to understand, to learn, to enter into a partnership with coaches and teammates in an effort to recognize one’s full potential. Emily McAuliffe of Londonderry is the recipient of the 2012 Catalina Award.
