Young golfers, sign up for summer play
LONDONDERRY — The Londonderry Youth Golf Program begins June 24 for the competitive program and June 26 for the instructional program.
This recreational program is designed to accommodate both beginning and experienced golfers, ages 7 to 18 years old.
The instructional program (ages 7 to 13) meets Tuesday evenings for seven weeks and costs $65. The competitive program (ages 12 to 18) meets on Sunday and Tuesday evenings for eight weeks and costs $185. Both the instructional and competitive programs are held at the Windham Country Club.

Register now for Derry Demons
DERRY — The Derry Demons are currently accepting registrations for tackle football, flag football and cheer registrations for the 2012 season.
The registration fee is $125 for tackle football and cheer. The flag football fee is $50.
The final pre-registration date is May 21 from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. at the Marion Gerrish Community Center in Derry.
Tackle football is open to grades 2 through 8 for the 2012-2013 school year. Cheer is open to ages 5 to 15 as of July 31.
New this year, the Demons are also running a flag football program for ages 5, 6 and 7 as of Dec. 31, 2012.
Practices are tentatively scheduled to start on Monday, July 30, with games beginning on the weekend of Aug. 26. Tumbling classes will be offered to cheerleaders in the spring before practice begins.

Celebrate half a century of baseball
Youngsville Athletic Association is celebrating 50 years of baseball at the park across from Massabesic Lake. All current and former players are welcomed to join in the celebration from noon to 4 p.m. on Sunday, May 20.
There are plans for a whiffle ball game and kick ball, as well as other activities. There will be a bouncy house for the little ones.

Wildcat Day Camp scheduled for summer
DURHAM — The University of New Hampshire men's basketball team will host its annual Wildcat Day Camp, provided for boys and girls entering second through ninth grades from Monday, July 30, to Thursday, Aug. 2.
The day camp features basketball instruction, for both the beginning player and the advanced youth, from UNH head coach Bill Herrion.
Herrion is the only four-time America East Coach of the Year award winner and the America East tournament's all-time most winning coach. Instruction also will be offered by UNH Wildcat players.
Campers will participate in skill development sessions, as well as play games each day. Students in second through fifth grades attend from 9 a.m. to noon. Those in sixth through 12th grades attend from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
