DERRY — Coach Rocky Bonomo is bringing his Rock Solid Wrestling Camp to Derry July 21-23 at Barka Elementary School.

The camp will run from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. and costs $165.

Golf tourney to support state volunteers

CONCORD — Volunteer NH will host a golf tournament on Tuesday, Aug. 19, at the Wentworth by the Sea Country Club in Rye. The proceeds of the golf tournament will support Volunteer NH’s mission to promote volunteerism in the state.

Players will have the opportunity to play the Wentworth by the Sea Country Club, enjoy continental breakfast and a barbecue lunch and win prizes at a silent auction.

Golfers have the chance to win a luxury golf holiday in Scotland, a 2014 Audi Allroad, a deluxe equipment outfitting from the Wentworth’s pro shop, and more.

One hundred percent of the proceeds from this tournament will support Volunteer NH’s mission.

Volunteer NH will be using the golf tournament to fund numerous mission-driven activities. These include:

Running a free online volunteer matching system with more than 5,000 registered volunteers and over 450 nonprofit groups.

Training volunteers and volunteer managers at the annual Governor’s Conference on Volunteerism.

Recognizing the contributions of more than 3,000 volunteers with the annual Spirit of New Hampshire Awards.

Serving the state’s critical needs with more than 150 National Service volunteers to New Hampshire every year through City Year, the Student Conservation Association, the Granite State Education Corps and the AmeriCorps Victims Assistance Program.
