Londonderry man gets some time with Jim Rice

Londonderry resident Mark Sullivan, a marketing employee at Sullivan Tire, recently participated in an innovative team building exercise — a visit from former Boston Red Sox left fielder and Hall of Famer Jim Rice.

Management from Sullivan Tire's locations across New England gathered at the Hanson Athletic Association to participate in a team-building exercise headlined by Rice.

Managers learned about the value of leadership as well as teamwork, and participated in a question-and-answer session, and a meet-and-greet with Rice.

Finally, Rice took a few swings to kick off the Sullivan Tire management softball game.

"We were thrilled to have Mr. Rice speak with our management team," said Paul Sullivan, Sullivan Tire vice president. "His record of success and our manager's commitment to our customers is a winning combination and I know the Sullivan Tire team will benefit from Mr. Rice's experience."
