Lutinski finishes on top

Pinkerton moved to 8-1 on the season with a win Aug. 30.

The Astro golfers finished at 210, followed by Concord at 221, Timberlane at 224 and Salem at 232.

Pinkerton had five golfers in the top 10. Kaitlyn Lutinski led all golfers with a 40. Astro Nick Salema was second with a 41. Pinkerton's Eric Byrne was fourth with a 42. Teammates Andrew Wentworth (43) and Jim Rice (44) finished sixth and 10th, respectively.

JV

Pinkerton's JV golfers won their second match of the season Aug. 24. Their score of 178 topped Nashua North with 200 and Goffstown with 208.

Marshall Halpin was the medalist with a 43. Nate Ralston had a 44 and Jason Bing a 45 for the junior Astros.

Trailblazers warm up

The Pinkerton Trailblazers held their alumni meet Aug. 31 in the heat. The alumni did not have enough runners for a scoring team.

Head coach Amy Bernard said the girls ran some great races.

The op seven times include: 1. Ariel Vailencourt, 21:02; 2. Felicia Dowling, 21:35; 3. Haley McMullen, 21:40; 4. Taylor Lacey, 21:41; 5. Danika Ashness, 21:46; 6. Kaila Cote, 21:57; 7. Sioban McLaughlin, 22:03.

The top alumni finisher was Caryn Pepin in 10th at 22:43.
