Lady Astros win in OT

The Lady Astros beat Winnacunnet in overtime, 3-2.

Nicole Yannalfo, Rachael Charewicz and Julie Saltamartini did the scoring. Kaylie DeCosmo had an assist and Jordan Dudley made 8 saves in net.

Jess Cote, Rachael Charewicz and Chevy Collins played well defensively in the win.

Memorial tops Pinkerton

On Sept. 5, the lady Astros team trailed Memorial 1-0 at the half. Despite strong efforts from many members of the team, Pinkerton fell to Memorial, 3-0.

Val Martin, Chevy Collins and Amanda Feeney played well for the Astros.

Pinkerton dominates Keene

On Sept. 7, the lady Astros took a 2–0 halftime lead and turned it into a 7–1 final.

Goal scorers were Nicole Yannalfo (3), Brooke Dorval, Kaylie DeCosmo, Sam Day and Jessica Cote. Assists came from Julie Saltamartini, Rachael Charewicz and Brooke Dorval.

Kaylie DeCosmo and Sam Day both scored their first career varsity goals. Nicole Yannalfo broke the game open in the second half, completing the true hat trick with 3 in a row. Brooke Dorval, Alex Albano and Val Martin played well for the Astros.

JV

A win for the JV Lady Astros

The JV Lady Astros defeated Nashua South, 8–0.

All 26 players got in the game and played well. Eight different players contributed to the goal scoring and assists. Playing well for the Lady Astros were Kelsey Weston, Haley Harrington, Gabby Guerard, Sam Day, Val Vaitones and Ally Rugg.

Pinkerton tops Winnacunnet

The JV Lady Astros defeated Winnacunnet, 5–1.

Abbey Doherty played well in net for the Lady Astros. Erin Johnston, Jess McCulley and Maria Aiello played well defensively.

Haley Harrington, Sam Day, Kristin Crowell, Kaliee Robinson, Maria Aiello scored goals. Emily Needham and Cecelia Sciuto added assists.

Jr. Lady Astros triumph

The JV lady Astros got great hustle Sept. 5 from Maria Aiello, Laura Moran, and Erin Johnston in their 3–0 win over Memorial.

Elizabeth Tveter and Kailee Robinson had great hustle. Sam Day, Laura Moran and Tess Malcolm scored the goals. Kailee Robinson had an assist.
