Kelsey Cummings rallied the Lady Astros from behind serving in game 4 the last 6 points of the match as the Astros won 3 – 1. Brenna McNally led the way with 18 kills and 19 digs. Maddie Neidliner hit 14 service points with 5 aces. Tyla Mahon contributed 6 blocks and 8 kills.

Astros trounce Blackbirds

The varsity Lady Astros jumped out to quick leads on their way to a 3-0 win Sept. 7 against Keene.

Strong serving from Brenna McNally and Rachel Byrd carried the Astros over the Blackbirds. Brenna McNally led the way with 19 service points, 10 of those aces. She also added 12 kills and 5 digs.

Rachel Byrd added 15 service points with 8 aces. Taylor Ferdinando came into game 3 and sparked a strong offensive attack.


The JV Lady Astros hosted Alvirne Sept. 5 and came away with the win, 3-0.

Jillian Tonello had 5 kills and Elizabeth Hicks had 10 assists. Erica White had 5 kills.


Frosh lose to St. Thomas

The freshman team traveled to Dover to take on St. Thomas and lost, 2-1.

Sky Wrenn played well at the net. Brenna Thubodeau and Miranda Rossignol both served 12 points for the Astros. Maggie Gildea played great defense.

Young Astros top Owls

The freshman Lady Astros beat the Timberlane Owls Sept. 6, 2-1, by scores of 26-24, 27-25, and 15-13.

The team showed huge improvements during the game. Maggie Gildea had two aces at the serving line.

Brenna Thibodeau and Carly McDonough each had an ace. Brenna Wrenn had a big block at the net while Miranda Rossignol and Sky Wrenn each had a kill. Molly DeCarlo and Victoria Walder played excellent defensively.



Astros start with a win

The varsity Astros got their season off to a good start with a 20-3 win over Bishop Guertin.

The Astro defense played well throughout the game with big plays being made by Matt Madden, Matt St. Onge, Manny Latimore, Ryan Day, Sean Conroy and Chris St. Onge.
