The JV Lady Astros remain undefeated with a 4-0 victory over Central High School.

The Astros came out strong, scoring three goals in the first half. JoJo Morse scored first off a great pass by Marissa Clark.

Sabrina Thomas scored two in a row with her left foot, with assists from Morse and Emily Hallee. Kyra Stariknok added another goal in the second half.

Allison Salema, Kasey Russo, Erin Batchelder, and Megan Jarvis played tight defense.

Pinkerton blanks Londonderry

The JV Lady Astros went to 8-0 after beating a tough, undefeated Londonderry team.

Allison Salema and Megan Jarvis played tough defense throughout the game and Molly Gingras made some crucial saves in net. Emily Hallee scored the only goal of the game on a penalty kick in the second half. Marissa Clark and Sabrina Thomas also put in a great effort.

In a back-and-forth game, Londonderry and Pinkerton traded punches in a hard fought defensive battle. With nine shots each on net, both teams played outstanding defensive soccer. Katy Ann Grochmal finally broke through off of a cross from Hannah Smith with less than 19 minutes to player. Keeper Sammy Mitchell made two key saves in net to propel the Astros to the victory.




Spike that, Central

The Lady Astros traveled to Central Sept. 25 and came away with the 3–0 win by scores of 25-13, 25-10, and 25-8.

Elizabeth Hicks had 11 service points and 7 aces. Kelsey Cummings had 10 service points and 6 aces. Brittany Capozzi had 5 service points and an ace. Courtney Collins led with 5 kills, Olivia Mathieu with 7 digs, and Elizabeth Hicks had 9 assists in the win.


Astros improve to 5-2

The JV Lady Astros improved to 5-2 on the season with a win against Manchester Central Sept. 25. the scores were 25-16 and 25-22.

The Astros had a great serving match. Maggie Gildea, Bianca Herlihy, Sarah Hicks, Jocelyn Dennis, Samantha Donahue, and Victoria Walder all contributed multiple aces during the competition.
