Culleton opens season with hole-in-one
LONDONDERRY — Tom Culleton got the first hole-in-one of the year at Londonderry Country Club on May 20.
Culleton used an eight-iron to ace the 115-yeard 11th hole.
Culleton's feat was witnessed by Kevin Bureau, Dave Connors and Eric Mesimas.
Try out soon for fall soccer
DERRY — The Derry Eagles competitive travel soccer program is holding tryouts during the month of June for the fall season.
The tryout schedule for U8 through U14 teams is posted at derrysoccerclub.org.
All players interested in making a roster spot on a Derry Eagles team must complete a NHSA player registration form prior to attending the tryout and is posted at the DSC website, derrysoccerclub.org.
The tryout registration fee is $10 paid at the field and includes a DSC T-shirt. Checks should be made payable to: Derry Soccer Club.

Free physicals offered for Pinkerton athletes
DERRY — Pinkerton Academy will offer a free physical night again on June 13 at 5:30 p.m. in the field house.
It is open to all incoming freshman through seniors.
A flier will be sent home soon with students.
Register for Lady Lancers basketball camp
LONDONDERRY — The Lady Lancers basketball camp will be held July 9-13 at Londonderry Middle School from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
The camp is run by Division 1 Coach of the year John Fagula, along with past and present members of the Lancer basketball team, including Steph Murphy, 2006 Gatorade Player of the Year.
The cost is $130 per player, $90 dollars for additional members.

Shoot for the Stars in July
DERRY — The 22nd annual Shoot for the Stars Field Hockey Camp will be held at Rider Field in Derry the weeks of July 9-13 and July 16-20.
Camp runs from 8 a.m. to noon. The camp will be directed by Coach Denise Rioux and her staff, including Coach Carol Merchant, college players Jordyn Hamilton (Boston College), Nicole Pacheco (UMass Lowell), goalie coach Sara Joyce (Keene State College) and Brittany Gentile (Quinnipiac).
The camp is open to beginners up to high school varsity and welcomes campers from all surrounding towns. The camp will include individual instruction in skills, offensive and defensive tactics, set plays, small games, scrimmages, a skills competition day and an all-star game.
