Derry native and Rensselaer sophomore guard Michelle Reid is a member of the RPI women’s basketball team.

Playing in 15 of the team’s 17 games, Reid is averaging 3.5 points and 2.2 rebounds per game.

A former standout at Pinkerton Academy, she is also averaging 0.9 assists per game and has 16 steals.

The Engineers played against William Smith College and Rochester this past weekend.

Spring’s coming;

sign up for baseball

The Granite State Baseball League is currently looking for players and teams to compete in the 2013 season.

The GSBL was established in 1992 and is the premier amateur adult baseball league in New Hampshire.

Teams play 18 regular season games on Sundays starting in April, playoffs begin in August and the league hosts an annual All-Star Game.

Bruins legends to

sign autographs

Meet Bruins’ legends Cam Neely and Ray Bourque in an autograph session next month.

Neely and Bourque will be at The Page Restaurant and Bar in Portsmouth Wednesday, March 6, from 7 to 8:30 p.m.

Prices range from $29 to $109, depending on the item and the autograph length.
