Lancers top Astros

The JV Lady Lancers defeated their Pinkerton counterparts last week. 44-28.

Astros Samantha Davis and Melanie George combined for 11 points in the loss.

Pinkerton prevails

The freshman Lady Astros hosted Bedford Jan. 31 and came away with the 44-33 win.

Brook Giddings had 10 key points to spark the team. Kaitlyn Meskell added 16 points, while Ali Davis had big rebounds in the win.

Varsity

Merrimack takes home a win

The varsity Astros hosted Merrimack Jan. 29 and lost.

Pinkerton got 16 points from Cam Welch and 9 points from Scott Bradley. But that was not enough; the Astros lost, 58–42.

Lancers triumph over Astros

The varsity team hosted Londonderry on Feb. 1.

In a closely contested match throughout, the Astros found themselves down at the half.

Despite a comeback in the third quarter, it was not enough as the Astros lost, 65–55.

Astro Scott Bradley had 17 points and 10 rebounds. Cam Welch added 18 points and 10 rebounds for Pinkerton.

JV

Quick start, but a loss

The JV Astros got off to a fast start against Merrimack last week.

Pinkerton lead 11-5 at the end of the first quarter, but was unable to hold on to the lead late in the game and lost, 49-46.

Londonderry beats Pinkerton

The JV Astros lost to the JV Londonderry Lancers last week, 44–35.

Eric Fyfe lead Pinkerton scorers with 10, followed by Sam Dolan with 8.

Freshman

Astros lose after leading

The freshman Astros got off to a good start against Timberlane Jan. 31. Pinkerton had a 22-13 lead at the end of the first quarter.

Timberlane took the lead in the second quarter. Despite pulling back in front by one at the end of the third, the Astros were not able to hold the lead in the fourth and lost, 53–51.

Unified Basketball

Pinkerton’s unified team traveled to Hudson last week to take on Alvirne.

The Astros got off to a quick start, scoring 10 points in the first quarter, followed by 8 in the second and fourth, and another 10 in the third on their way to the 36–18 win.
